It’s official – Flowers increase workplace creativity!

A recent Texas A&M University study shows that flowers in the workplace increase workers ability to solve problems, generate ideas and work creatively.

The study, which was released by the Society of American Florists was aiming to validate a theory that flowers make people happy and boost their moods.

According to the lead researcher Roger Ulrich, “Businesses need to understand what workplace features can improve employees’ performance and make employees more productive” He goes on to say the research shows that “a change as simple as adding flowers and plants can be important to businesses in the modern economy. People’s productivity, in the form of innovation and creative problem solving, improved, which in certain circumstances could mean the difference between mild and great business success.”
